Just a quick post for today. Well it's more of rant actually!
Today i had plans to go shopping with a friend and buy some things i really need for my holiday since i leave on Tuesday. So this morning i got up at 10, had breakfast, put on my makeup and got dressed. Packed everything into my handbag and off i went at about 11am. I said I'd meet my friend in the bus station after i had picked up a prescription and she had gone to the dentist.
After i had packed everything into my handbag, i started walking into town (i got whistled at by some builders and it actually made my day!) I'd just left the end of the street i live on when i read my phone. A message from my friend "sorry babe, i can't go shopping today". I was annoyed, if i didn't have a prescription to pick up i would have been even more annoyed.
I should have expected her to cancel though, she always does! It's like the only time she has now is for her boyfriend or work. I wasn't that annoyed about her cancelling,I'm used to it. I'm annoyed for two reasons:
1. I really need to go shopping to get things foe my holiday. It is also the only thing i have planned with a friend this summer.
2. This is what really annoyed me. I got a snapchat from her.
What was the picture Amy? It was her in a bikini sunbathing. She cancelled shopping with me to sit in her garden.
To say I'm pissed of is an understatement.
If you make plans you should follow through with them unless it's a dire emergency!
I didn't reply to her snapchat, incase you were wondering.
Hope you're all enjoying this beautiful weather, one way or another!

Father's Day
I've been meaning to write this blog post for a good couple of weeks now but with starting back at college and a million and one things to do, it simply slipped my mind.
On Father's Day this year me and my mum let dad choose whatever he wanted to do and as it turns out he already had a plan. My dad is like any other male out there, he loves cars! So on Sunday at the crack of dawn (well around 9am) we hopped in the car and headed off to a classic car show. Typical Father's day treat. At first i thought it would be utterly boring but it's something my dad wanted to do so i just went along with it, but i actually had fun and my dad loved it!
I was so excited when i saw all the American cars, they're my favourite. Since i'm also thinking about purchasing my new car, i got to look inside my dream car that is way out of my price range: a light blue fiat 500. Not only did we see all these awesome classic cars but it reminded my parents of their childhood and all the fun they had travelling about in them which was probably my favourite part about the whole day!
I did take some pictures but it was cold and grey so they didn't turn out too great:

The new Pimm's was delicious!
Just before we left we got to see the breitling wing walkers.
I wouldn't want to be sat on the top of that plane!

The Future
As I start to plan what i want to study at university and pick my top five, i was literally just this second thinking about the future. When you're little you have all these dreams and ambitions and say
"In ten years time, i want to go to the moon" or "In ten years time i want to be a princess" and all these crazy insane things that when you reach a certain age realise aren't very realistic!
This is just a quick blog post to say, I have a life plan. I don't know how many people do but if i didn't have this plan i would honestly feel a little lost in my life.
In ten years time i'll be 27 years old, which to me sounds crazy as i'm only just planning on going to university. Hopefully by this time i'll have achieved these three things:
1. Married
2. Had a child
3. Own my house in a nice little neighborhood.
It sounds very specific and some people might think i'm crazy for being so precise but that's what I want. I have an idea about my future life and what i look for in it which only makes me want to work that bit harder to reach my ideal. The only thing I don't about my future is what career I want to be in.
I may sound crazy but that's what I want in my future.
Do you have a life plan? What's in your future?

Regrets
With this post i honestly have no idea where i am going with it! I need to vent.
Right this very evening i have just performed in front of an examiner for my AS performing arts. Dancing is my supposed strongest skill, i find it easier than acting and i can't sing to save my life!
I entitled this post regrets because that is all i feel now, i honestly think I'm a terrible dancer. I absolutely hate being judged and i always think everyone is judging me. After the performance all i could think was about what the audience must be thinking...
"she can't dance. What is she doing?"
I probably blow it way out of proportion. I perform in front of my classmates regularly and i know what they can be like about judging others. My teacher thought it was brilliant but she always says that when i dance. I don't believe i was terrible. The person i was least worried about was the examiner herself.
I get so paranoid in situations like this and think everyone is judging just me. Eventually i move on, i just wish i could move on straight away!
I'm dropping the performing arts next year so at least i don't have to go through this trauma again. I can now enjoy watching them rather than producing them and being in them!
I have loved (almost) every second of it and I'm glad I chose to study it! In a few years i probably won't regret anything but for now i do.
Do you ever feel like this? I'm sure I'm not the only one...

Life's Moments
Yesterday morning I woke up with no plans other than to watch a bit of cricket and the Grand Prix, maybe even relax in the garden. I'd had a stressful and exhausting Friday after rehearsing all day long so on Saturday I just wanted to rest my poorly, damaged, little (not exaggerating, i'm only a size 3) feet.
Towards mid afternoon one of my oldest and closest (literally as well, she only lives round the corner from me) text me out of the blue asking if i wanted to go for a walk. I couldn't refuse. The weather was glorious and after reading something, I really needed to see a true friend. We spent about an hour walking up a very steep hill, up another little hill and resting for a bit at the top whilst admiring the view. You could see my friends house from the top of the hill and the town we live in. I must admit, it looks beautiful when the sun shines.

It's spontaneous moments like this that make me happy. Just taking the time to enjoy each other's company before we both venture of to university, I treasure it. After the walk we headed back to hers to relax in the garden and have a sneaky drink of rose before i headed back home to enjoy my enchiladas.
I probably should have worn some different sandals, I now have two very irritating blisters on the bottom of my feet!
I love the sunshine, it makes everyone happy :)
How have you all enjoyed the sunshine?

Welcome!
Hello all!
Let me introduce myself to you. My name is Amy, I'm 17 years old and currently in my first year of 6th Form (or college if you prefer). I've finished my AS-Levels and now i nervously await the results, in the mean time I'm attempting to bake cakes, spend quality time with my parents and plan my future!
Why start a blog Amy? That my dear reader is a very good question and here's the honest truth.
I've never thought of myself as one of the "popular" girls but i always felt like i had plenty of friends and a best friend who i talked to everyday. Well that's all changed. I no longer feel like part of the group, i'm always feel like the odd one out. I'm left out of pretty much everything! I barely talk to my supposed best friend who i met on my first day of school at the tender age of four. I always thought we'd be friends forever and so far, so good but since we began 6th form i barely see her or even talk to her! It's not like we have a new group of friends either, the sixth form is attached to the lower school which both went too! Anyway, i ramble. I decided to start this blog so that i felt like i was a) doing something with my life and b) i can hopefully meet new people that actually appreciate me.
I haven't decided what type of blog this will be but bare with, i've only just started! I'll probably write about everything and anything i feel like because this is my blog. I can do things like that!
I hope you welcome me with your arms wide open into the blogging community!
